The Dean of Students Office fosters the development of leadership, civility, accountability, and responsibility in the University of North Texas student; builds community through service and involvement; and serves as an advocate for all students. This office is dedicated to supporting the UNT student who may need assistance in resolving complex personal and academic matters. We strive to help all students achieve their academic and personal goals and enhance the UNT student experience.

UNT’s Title IX Coordinator is the university official responsible for coordinating the university’s compliance with Title IX, including the university’s grievance procedures for resolving Title IX complaints.

The UNT Police Department is a nationally accredited agency and serves an integral role in campus life as the university's principal provider of safety and security for our faculty, staff, students, and visitors. As established in our Mission Statement, we are dedicated partners in maintaining UNT's legacy as a healthy and enriched educational environment.

CTS consists of two inter-related parts: The Counseling Center and Testing Services. We exist to serve the students and community of UNT in support of the mission of the University. Through our Counseling Center services, we strive to support the academic success and general well-being of UNT students through professional counseling, career counseling, consultation, mental-health screenings, educational programs, and self-help resources as well as a referral services.

The Student Health and Wellness Center is the on-campus medical clinic for UNT students. Our clinic offers treatment for injuries, illnesses, other medical issues with convenient access to on-site laboratory testing, and x-rays. We also offer health education services to keep UNT students healthy, in class, and on the path to graduation and professional success.

UNT welcomes more than 9,000 international students and scholars to North Texas. International Student and Scholar Services is committed to providing top-notch, culturally sensitive services to UNT's international communities. Our staff is here to help you navigate U.S. immigration regulations throughout your time at UNT.

The UNT Financial Aid & Scholarships team is dedicated to assisting students and families throughout the financial aid process. UNT offers financial assistance or merit-based scholarships for qualified students and a variety of other tools that families can use to make higher education possible.
The UNT Survivor Advocate exists to support students who have been impacted by sexual or relational violence, trauma, or harassment, and connects students to resources (counseling, health, safety, academics, legal, and more). The Survivor Advocate can assist a students with filing protective orders, completing crime victim’s compensation applications, contacting professors for incident-related absences, working with housing to facilitate a room change (if needed), and connecting students to the many other resources that are available, both on and off-campus. They are here to help and advocate on students’ behalf.
