EO/TIX Training Topics

EO/TIX offers in-person and virtual training on matters related to equal opportunity (discrimination, harassment, retaliation) and sexual misconduct (state and federal/TIX).

These are the training topics we offer:

UNT Policies & Title IX: Preventing Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Misconduct & Retaliation

This is the required annual training for UNT employees. This training covers UNT policies prohibiting discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and retaliation. UNT policies are informed by federal laws like Title IX, the Clery Act, and the Violence Against Women Act. This training discusses explicit content such as sexual harassment and sexual assault.

Sexual Misconduct Mandatory Reporter Refresher Training

This asynchronous training is offered through UNT Bridge and takes about 25 minutes to complete. It is available at any time as an optional supplemental course to the required annual training above.

  • Prohibition of Discrimination and Harassment: Covers various forms of discrimination and harassment, and acceptable methods of response.
  • Title IX / Preventing Sexual Misconduct: Covers various forms of sexual misconduct, the definition of consent, the obligation to report, and the university's response.
  • General EEO Principles: This training covers topics from both of the above two trainings.
